After selecting your final artwork size from the first dropdown menu, there are three additional dropdown menus that require you to make customization selections for the artwork mount type, frame color, and frame depth before pricing is calculated and displayed.

This customization options guide helps explain the differences between the mount types and frame depth choices and lists the currently available frame color options. You will need to make the choices in each dropdown menu in order to place the artwork in your cart for purchase.

This is an important step in making sure your artwork will provide the framing appearance and viewing pleasure you are expecting. If you have any questions about the currently available options below, please contact me before placing your order, or within the next business day if you have already completed checkout, so we can make sure everything is right before the crafting of your artwork order begins.

  1. Artwork Mount Type Dropdown Menu

1.25” Frame-to-Edge Mount

Currently, there are two types of mount options to choose from, a Frame-to-Edge mount or Floating Mount, with the following differences between the two:

  • A Frame-to-Edge mount places the aluminum frame precisely to the edges of the artwork and “hides” all the wall space behind the artwork piece (shown).

  • A Floating Mount uses a smaller framing square that is 6-8 inches from the edge of the artwork, leaving the wall space “open” behind the piece to make it appear as if it is “floating” just off the wall.

2. Aluminum Frame Depth Dropdown Menu

1.25” Frame Depth (Front-to-Back)

Currently, there are two options for the frame depth, which refers to the front-to-back distance the artwork piece will be from the surface of the mounting wall:

  • For a thinner appearance, choose the .75” inch frame depth.

  • For a more traditional, deeper gallery look choose the 1.25” inch frame depth (shown).
